With a combination of casino funds, the donation of the house across the street, and many volunteer hours, Riverdale acquired a new Rinkhouse.
 | Skating Rink Hours |
Skating on the rink is permitted outside of these hours, but the rink shack will be closed.
School holidays on weekdays: additional daytime open hours when possible.
The rink shack may be closed at temperatures colder than -23C or warmer than 0C, at the discretion of the Rink Committee.
During Public Skating no sticks or pucks are allowed on the ice.
For safety reasons, helmets are encouraged for children under the age of 12.

The Rinkhouse can be booked by LEAGUE MEMBERS ONLY for events, related or not to the rink use. Rental cost per event is $50. League-sponsored events open to all Riverdalians are rent-free.
To Book a Rinkhouse Event | | |
1. Find an empty date in the rink calendar HERE, then click the date and enter your event and time. It will appear in the Rinkhouse calendar and also in the RINKHOUSE BOOKINGS section in the Discussion page. 2. Send your contact details to Rinkhouse manager Therese Lemire via the submit form below. Be sure to do both: Therese will not block off your time slot in the calendar for you. She will then contact you with details about picking up the keys. You are expected to leave the Rinkhouse clean enough for the next user, but thorough cleaning of floors etc. will be done weekly by Riverdale staff.
